Job Description

- Room & Facility Cleaning:

- Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public walkways according to company standards.

- Vacuum carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture; dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.

- Sanitize bathrooms and restock guest amenities while reporting maintenance or plumbing issues.

- Surface & Equipment Maintenance:

- Use specialized cleaning equipment (e.g., industrial vacuums, floor polishers) and apply appropriate cleaning agents for deep-cleaning tasks.

- Strip and reapply wax coatings to floors; remove residues like oil, grease, soot, and dust from various surfaces.

- Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and any faults are promptly reported.

- Operational Support & Safety Compliance:

- Assist in stock control and inventory management; report supply needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.





- Adhere to safety protocols when handling cleaning agents and lost property.

- Support additional tasks including public area cleaning, exterior maintenance, and any reasonable requests from management.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

- Understanding of proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.

- Experience in maintaining high cleanliness standards in quick-paced environments.

Competencies:

- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, even in dynamic or high-pressure situations.

- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor with guests and colleagues alike.

Additional Requirements:

- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.

- Must embody the values and guest-centric culture of the Accor Heartist philosophy.
