We are seeking a dedicated Casual Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit Greencross Ballarat team! The ideal candidate will possess a solid passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
About your New Job:
- Casual role with the potential for a Permanent Part-time role for the right candidate
- No Afterhours or Sundays
- Undertaking general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care,
and pathology
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
The skills & experience you will bring:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent with a minimum 2+ years' of clinical experience
- Surgical experience with the ability to monitor anaesthetics competently is essential
- Experience with Team Based Care highly regarded
- Calm, mature and empathetic
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues
