A great opportunity for a Vet Nurse to join our Greencross Kessels Road team!

Our clinic is generous in space, purpose built and fully equipped with seven consult rooms, an ultrasound room, a designated dental area, an extra-large prep area with three tables and a large surgery room. We also have a fully functioning lab, with an x-ray machine as well as Pulse Oximeter, Multi Parameter monitor and Isoflurane Anaesthetics to assist you with ensuring a memorable and positive clinical experience for every pet and owner we see!

About your new role:

- Permanent Part-time role - Full-time considered for the right candidate




- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties when required

About your skills and your experience:

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with min. 2+ years of experience preferred
- Experienced Certificate III nurses will be considered
- Excellent animal handling skills and extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- A calm, friendly and positive presence
- A ‘can do’, hands-on team player attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Availability for Saturday shifts
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
