Greencross Ashburton is located just outside the inner city in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, it is a great location with a variety of clients that allows for lots of opportunities to work up cases thoroughly.

We are a large, experienced, easy-going team, with our Vet Director having a membership in internal medicine and a special interest in orthopaedic surgery, there are plenty of opportunities to learn and expand your skills! We are equipped with 4 consult rooms, separate surgery, imaging room and cat ward, Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray, Ultrasound, IM3 Dental, Orthopaedic equipment, Bair Hugger, Tonopen and Vet Tome.

About your current role:

- Part-time - 32 hours a week
- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care




- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

About you:

- Min. 1+ years of clinical experience
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing - will consider applicants still completing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A calm, friendly, team player attitude
- Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia advantageous
- Experience using RxWorks will be highly regarded
