QBCC Licensed Site Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QBCC Licensed Site Supervisor [OPEN] to oversee the delivery of large-scale feedlot and agricultural infrastructure projects.

Our projects involve the construction of purpose-designed structures for the Australian feedlot industry, requiring the coordination of structural steel, concrete, roofing, civil works, specialised contractors and other trades.

As Site Supervisor, you will be the key point of coordination on site, ensuring every contractor and company involved in the project is working together, following the correct engineering documentation and building to the latest approved drawings.

You will work closely with our engineers and management team. When construction issues, drawing discrepancies or unforeseen site conditions arise, you will identify the problem, report it clearly to the engineer and then coordinate the approved solution on site.

This is not a desk-based supervisory position. We are looking for someone who understands construction, can read drawings, communicate confidently with trades and engineers, and take ownership of what is happening on site.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise construction of feedlot, agricultural and large-scale structural projects.
- Coordinate multiple contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and trades across active sites.
- Ensure everyone on site is working from the latest approved engineering drawings and revisions.
- Read and interpret structural, civil and construction drawings.
- Identify discrepancies, clashes and potential construction issues before they become costly problems.




- Liaise directly with engineers when technical or construction issues arise.
- Communicate engineering solutions and drawing revisions back to contractors.
- Ensure approved engineering solutions are correctly implemented on site.
- Coordinate sequencing between concrete, structural steel, roofing, civil and specialist contractors.
- Monitor workmanship, construction quality and project progress.
- Coordinate works around operational requirements on active agricultural and feedlot sites where required.
- Identify potential delays and work with contractors and management to keep projects moving.
- Maintain clear communication between the site, engineering team, contractors and company management.
- Maintain appropriate site documentation, reporting and records.
- Ensure works comply with relevant safety, regulatory and project requirements.
- Take ownership of the overall coordination and successful delivery of works on site.

About You

We are looking for a practical, experienced construction professional who is comfortable taking responsibility for complex projects involving multiple contractors.

Experience within feedlots or agricultural construction would be highly regarded, although candidates from structural steel, industrial, commercial or large-scale construction backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

You will need to be confident reading engineering drawings,



identifying problems and coordinating solutions rather than simply waiting for instructions.

Essential

- Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence [OPEN] appropriate to the works.
- Demonstrated construction/site supervision experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Experience coordinating multiple contractors and trades.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations.
- Excellent communication and practical problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, contractors and management.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel to regional project sites as required.
- Strong commitment to site safety and quality workmanship.
