About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time / Casual Food Services Assistant to join our team!
This role is perfect for someone who is confident, proactive, and takes pride in getting the job done to a high standard. You will play a key role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring residents receive quality meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Availability Requirements (Casuals ONLY):
This is a casual position, however applicants must:
- Be available to work at least 3 days per week
- Be flexible across morning, afternoon, and night shifts
- Be willing to work occasional weekend shifts (very rare, but required when needed)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and food plating
- Serve meals and beverages to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and dining environment
- Follow food safety and infection control procedures
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff
About You:
- Confident, reliable, and able to work efficiently
- Strong work ethic with a “get it done” attitude
- Team player with a positive approach
- Good communication and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced setting
Qualifications & Experience:
- Food Safety Certificate (Required)
- Experience in hospitality or aged care (1+ year preferred)
- Certificate II/III in Hospitality or similar (desirable)
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
