The Organisation

Landcom is the NSW Government's land and property developer, delivering more homes, greater housing diversity and sustainable communities across NSW. As a purpose-driven organisation with a strong sustainability mandate, Landcom works at the intersection of housing, climate, nature and community outcomes. The Role

This newly created position will help shape and elevate Landcom's sustainability reporting capability at a critical time. Reporting to the Manager, Sustainability & Research, you will focus on improving the systems, processes and governance that underpin climate, sustainability and nature-related reporting.
Rather than being purely report-writing focused, this role is centred on creating efficient, automated and reliable reporting processes, improving data quality and developing meaningful performance metrics that support decision-making across the organisation. You will play a key role in Landcom's climate disclosures, Net Zero Transition Plan reporting and TNFD-aligned reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the ongoing improvement of sustainability, climate and nature-related reporting systems, frameworks and governance processes.
- Coordinate climate, sustainability and nature-related reporting obligations,

including TPG24-33, Net Zero Transition Plan and TNFD-aligned reporting.
- Improve data collection, automation, quality assurance and reporting workflows across the business.
- Develop dashboards, performance metrics and reporting tools for executive and organisational reporting.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to strengthen data ownership, accessibility and governance.
- Coordinate emissions reporting, net zero performance monitoring and target tracking.
- Manage assurance activities and maintain audit-ready reporting documentation.
- Monitor emerging reporting requirements and implement improvements to maintain compliance and best practice.

About You

You are a highly organised sustainability or ESG skilled with experience in reporting, climate risk, data management or sustainability performance. You enjoy streamlining processes, solving complex reporting challenges and turning data into meaningful insights. Equally comfortable working with systems and stakeholders, you can translate evolving reporting requirements into practical and effective business solutions.

Required Skills and Proficiencies

Experience in sustainability reporting, climate risk, ESG or a related field is essential, ideally gained within government (TPG 24-33)

or group 1 ASRS reporting entities. You will bring strong analytical capabilities, experience improving reporting frameworks and data governance processes, and a sound understanding of climate-related reporting requirements, emissions reporting and transition planning. Knowledge of TNFD, TCFD or related disclosure frameworks will be highly regarded, along with strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

The Rewards and Culture

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded organisation where sustainability is genuinely embedded in strategy and decision-making. Landcom offers meaningful work, access to senior stakeholders, strong leadership support and a collaborative culture where people are committed to achieving positive outcomes for communities and the environment. Employees benefit from ongoing professional development, wellbeing initiatives, flexible working arrangements and additional monthly leave provisions for salaried staff.
