Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse with Bayside Acute Care Team (ACT), you will provide advanced clinical assessment, care coordination and specialist mental health nursing for clients with complex needs. Working autonomously, you will provide clinical leadership, support the multidisciplinary team, contribute to education and professional development, and drive quality improvement, research and best-practice care.

You are an experienced and confident mental health nurse who combines advanced clinical expertise with strong leadership, critical thinking and a genuine commitment to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
- Advanced mental health expertise with strong assessment, care planning and clinical decision-making skills.
- Confident clinical leader who can work autonomously and guide, support and mentor others.
- Strong communicator and collaborator who builds effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Committed to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, education and positive consumer outcomes.

The Bayside Acute Care Team (ACT) is a part of Metro South Addictions and Mental Health Services. ACT obtains service requests from the local 1300 MH CALL tele triage, Emergency departments and other mental health services based upon urgency and prioritisation of care. ACT provides multidisciplinary mental health service to consumers with acute care needs in a community setting.
