What you’ll do:

As a forward-deployed strategic extension of the CISO, the Senior Cyber Business Partner is embedded across a dedicated portfolio of technology domains and business units (e.g., Digital, Supply Chain & Stores, Corporate). Rather than focusing on single-system triage or specific projects, this role operates at the portfolio level, partnering with multiple domain Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs) and Tech Directors to integrate security directly into business decisions, strategic roadmaps, and early program ideation. You will serve as an outbound risk advocate, elevating cyber visibility and enabling secure, sustainable business growth.

- Strategic Interface & Executive Advisory: Serve as the primary liaison between Cyber Security and domain leadership, ensuring cyber strategy is embedded into domain planning, commercial priorities and long term roadmaps.

- Strategic Risk Translation & Advisory: Translate complex, technical cyber risks into executive-level business context,



empowering domain Directors and SLTs to make informed, risk-based decisions.

- Early Ideation & Pipeline Visibility: Partner with business and technology leaders at the earliest stages of program ideation, providing the Cyber SLT with foresight into domain pipelines and commercial context.

- Portfolio Prioritisation & Remediation Strategy: Drive domain-level risk profiles and roadmaps, partnering with domain leaders to prioritise critical risk remediation and resolve competing business versus cyber demands.

- Leveraging AI & Automation: Utilise AI-driven workflow tools to streamline operational reporting, keeping your focus on high-impact strategic advisory..

What you’ll bring:

You bring a proven ability to bridge the gap between technical operations and business objectives, translating complex risk into clear, constructive business language. Experienced in early demand shaping, you ensure security requirements are integrated up front to prevent costly late-stage friction. Your background in cross-functional negotiation enables you to resolve competing priorities when business and security demands clash. Additionally, your ability to provide immediate business context during security incidents helps response teams minimize disruption to daily operations.

- Extensive experience as a Senior Cyber Consultant, Security Architect, BISO or IT Business Partner with a track record of driving strategic outcomes across multiple-domain portfolios.

- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence Domain SLTs and Tech Directors.

- Robust expertise in business translation - converting technical cyber,



threat and exposure themes into clear business risk and value arguments.

- Background in cross-functional negotiation and resolving complex prioritisation conflicts across business, technology and cyber agendas.

- Deep understanding of how security integrates into broader technology portfolios, strategic ideation and business release cycles.

- Familiarity with leveraging automated systems, AI capabilities, or metrics-driven reporting to scale executive influence.
