About the Role

We are transforming our CISO organisation into a business-aligned, "Secure by Design" partner. As General Manager - Security Strategy, Architecture & Delivery, you will lead the "Enablement Layer" of our cyber operating model. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will translate strategic cyber vision into executable global standards, business-aligned roadmaps, and scalable programs across Woolworths Group Technology.

What You'll Do

- Security Architecture: Direct Enterprise Security Architects in designing strategic blueprints and patterns.



Chair the Architecture Chapter Forum to review and approve enterprise architectural artifacts.

- Portfolio & Delivery: Oversee end-to-end cyber project execution, portfolio governance, and cross-layer capacity planning as the primary strategic escalation point.

- Strategy & Investment: Drive strategic prioritisation, secure project funding allocations, and manage financial and commercial governance across multi-million dollar vendor portfolios.

- AI & Automation Integration: Leverage agentic AI workflows to scale cyber delivery, automate triage, and streamline business case generation.

- Leadership & Influence: Lead a high-performing leadership team (including Heads of Security Architecture, Delivery, and Cyber AI & Automation) across internal, contract, and hybrid/outsourced talent.

What You'll Bring

- Experience: 15+ years in technology with 8+ years in IT leadership and 5+ years specialising in enterprise Cyber Security.

- Executive Leadership: Proven track record of managing large, geographically dispersed teams and shifting cyber functions from siloed units into embedded business partners.

- Strategic Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, capable of translating complex cyber risks into clear business outcomes without relying on stage-gate friction.

- Domain Expertise: Deep technical grounding in enterprise security architecture, demand management, modern delivery frameworks, and commercial sourcing strategies.
