About the role:
We are seeking a Service Configuration Management (SCM) Consultant to join a high-performing Enterprise Service Management team supporting a large-scale, complex technology environment. This role is ideal for an experienced ITSM qualified with strong Configuration Management and CMDB expertise who is passionate about improving service visibility, data quality, and operational excellence.

- As an SCM Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, operating, and continuously improving Service Configuration Management processes and capabilities across a multi-vendor environment.
- You will work closely with technical teams, service providers, and client stakeholders to ensure configuration data is accurate, governed, and enables effective service management outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Support the design, implementation, and operation of end-to-end Service Configuration Management processes.
- Maintain accurate and reliable Configuration Item (CI) data and relationships within the CMDB.
- Monitor and improve CMDB data quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Support ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and related platform capabilities.

- Assist with integration of configuration data from multiple sources & collaborate with platform teams to optimize CMDB performance & usability.

Skills/Experience

- You will bring a combination of Configuration Management expertise,



ServiceNow experience, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in IT Service Management, Configuration Management, CMDB, or related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.

- Knowledge of Configuration Item (CI) modelling, service mapping, and relationship management.

- Understanding of ITIL service management practices.
- Experience supporting large and complex enterprise environments.
