ConsultANZ is looking for a Design Manager to join a leading piling and deep foundations contractor based in NSW. This role is ideal for an experienced foundation designer who can lead a small team while delivering high-quality designs for major civil and infrastructure projects.

Main Duties:

- Prepare and review designs for bored piers, CFA piles, and retaining walls.
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 design engineers.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and external consultants.
- Review geotechnical reports and develop practical foundation solutions.
- Ensure designs are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and support across multiple projects.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in piling, deep foundations, or geotechnical design.
- Strong design experience with bored piers, CFA piles, and retaining walls.




- Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong communication and English skills.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and priorities.
- D-wall experience is advantageous but not essential.
