Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in mining, engineering or industrial services?

About our Client:

Our client is an Australian-owned engineering and manufacturing company. They support the mining, construction and heavy industry sectors, providing custom-engineered solutions, repairs, refurbishments and field services across Australia. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team to contribute to their growth across North Queensland. You'll have the autonomy to develop new business, strengthen existing client relationships and play a key role in driving regional growth.

What You Will Be Doing:

Working Monday - Friday as a Business Development Manager, you'll have the autonomy to develop new business, strengthen existing client relationships and play a key role in driving regional growth You will be responsible for;

- Developing and executing regional business development strategies.

- Identifying and converting new business opportunities.

- Managing and growing existing key customer relationships.

- Preparing quotations, tenders and commercial proposals.

- Negotiating commercial agreements while maintaining margin objectives.

- Maintaining CRM activity, sales pipeline and sales forecasts.

- Working closely with Operations, Engineering and Production teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

- Travelling throughout North and regional Queensland to meet with customers and identify new opportunities.

- Representing the business across the mining, manufacturing and industrial sectors.

What You Will Need:

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Proven experience in business development or technical sales.

- Experience within heavy engineering, mining services, fabrication, machining, hydraulics, lubrication or a related industry.

- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach.

- A current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Full Australian working rights.

What's In It For you?

- $125,000 base salary

- Performance bonus of up to $15,000 per annum (following the successful completion of a six-month qualifying period)
