About the role

Working Thursdays and Fridays, you will be responsible for the smooth running of reception and providing a welcoming, professional experience for our patients.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting patients and managing the reception area

- Answering telephone and email enquiries

- Scheduling and managing appointments

- Processing payments, issuing receipts and handling health fund claims

- General administration and correspondence

- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records

- Supporting the podiatrist with the day-to-day running of the practice

About you

- Is warm, approachable and confident communicating with people of all ages

- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently

- Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Is comfortable using computers and learning practice software





- Can manage competing priorities while remaining calm and professional

- Understands the importance of discretion and patient confidentiality

- Previous experience in medical or allied health reception would be highly regarded, but it is not essential for the right person

About us

Esperance Podiatry is looking for a friendly, organised and dependable receptionist to join our small team for two days per week. This is a temporary leave-cover position, anticipated to run for approximately 3–6 months. There may be an prospect for the role to continue beyond this period, depending on the practice's staffing needs.
