What’s the role?
Join the Qscan team at North West Private Hospital, a busy hospital-based imaging service supporting a diverse range of patients and clinical requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiographer looking to develop their hospital and acute-care experience, with exposure to a varied caseload and the opportunity to work closely with medical and clinical teams. Theatre experience is highly regarded, and the role provides an opportunity to further develop skills in a hospital environment. There are also on-call and after-hours opportunities available, providing additional flexibility and earning potential for those interested. The service is supported by an experienced and team-oriented team, with a strong focus on patient care, clinical quality and delivering timely imaging to support hospital services. The successful candidate will suit someone who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment and is looking to build or further strengthen their hospital radiography experience while being part of the broader Qscan network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing high-quality General X-ray and CT imaging
- Supporting MSK and interventional imaging workflows
- Delivering exceptional patient-centred care
- Maintaining imaging quality and radiation safety standards
- Working collaboratively with Radiologists and the wider clinical team
- Contributing to a positive and supportive clinic culture

Is this role right for you?
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Radiographer).
- Demonstrated experience in general radiography, with theatre experience highly regarded.
- Hospital radiography experience preferred, with the ability to work confidently within a fast-paced acute clinical environment.
- Ability to work effectively with medical, nursing and allied health teams.
- Strong patient-centred approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing clinical demands while maintaining a high standard of patient care and image quality.
- Robust understanding of radiation safety, infection control and relevant clinical protocols. Flexibility to participate in on-call and after-hours opportunities as required.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining contemporary radiographic knowledge and skills.
