About the role

We have a great opportunity for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years experience in public practice accounting who is keen to continue developing their technical skills while working closely with small to medium enterprise clients. You will be supported by experienced accountants and advisers as you assist with accounting, taxation and compliance work, build confidence with client communication, and continue growing your career in a practical, hands on public practice environment.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with accounting, taxation and compliance work

- Build confidence with client communication

- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS or similar compliance work under supervision

About you

- 1–2 years' experience in public practice accounting

- Completed or currently studying a relevant university qualification

- A developing understanding of accounting, tax and compliance work for SME clients

- Experience preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS or similar compliance work under supervision

- A willingness to learn, ask questions and build confidence in working with clients

- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high quality work
