About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational leader looking to take the next step in their career, or an established Branch Manager, to take the lead at our Oakey Branch.

The Oakey Branch Manager forms part of Riverina’s Senior Leadership Team and has overall accountability for the performance of the branch, providing leadership and direction to deliver operational, financial, people, safety, quality and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall management and performance of the Oakey Branch, overseeing production, administration, quality and sales.
- Be accountable for the branch P&L;, budgets, costs and overall financial performance.
- Lead, manage and develop the branch team to achieve business and operational objectives.
- Drive a positive, accountable and high-performing workplace culture, ensuring employees understand their responsibilities and expected standards of performance and behaviour.
- Oversee production planning and operational performance, ensuring customer requirements are met through effective scheduling, resource allocation and coordination of branch activities.
- Maintain oversight of inventory, raw materials and finished goods, ensuring appropriate stock levels, accuracy and availability.
- Champion a strong health and safety culture,



ensuring risks are proactively identified and managed and the branch complies with WHS requirements, Company policies and safe operating procedures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, productivity, cost, service and operational processes.

What We're Looking For:

- Significant experience in a Branch Manager, Site Manager or similar senior leadership role, preferably within the stockfeed, agriculture, manufacturing or FMCG sector.
- Proven experience leading a branch, site or operational function, with responsibility across production, people, safety, quality and customer outcomes.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with demonstrated experience managing P&L;, budgets, costs and financial performance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading, developing and managing a diverse team.
- Demonstrated experience in production planning, inventory management and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Sound knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements, with HACCP and/or FeedSafe experience highly regarded.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound business decisions.
- A practical, hands-on leadership style with the ability to take ownership and accountability for branch performance.
