Employment Type: Full time
Classification: SCHADS Level 7
Salary $125,000
Location: Townsville, QLD with remote working arrangements considered
Lead with purpose. Build services that genuinely change lives.
At Stream Services, we do things differently. We are not a metro-based provider delivering cookie-cutter services from a distance. We are a Queensland-based NDIS provider committed to improving the wellbeing, independence, and quality of life of people living in rural, regional, isolated, and remote communities.
Our teams work where support is often hardest to access - partnering with participants, families, communities, and local services to create practical, sustainable outcomes that make a real difference.
We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead service delivery operations, strengthen team performance, and ensure high-quality, compliant and values-aligned supports.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can confidently lead dispersed teams, and is passionate about delivering person-centred services across regional and remote communities.
While this role is ideally based in Townsville, Stream Services is open to applications from experienced candidates located elsewhere in Queensland. A remote working arrangement may be considered for the right candidate, provided they can work effectively with geographically dispersed teams and regularly travel to Townsville and other regional and remote service locations. The frequency of travel will be guided by operational needs.
Why join Stream Services?
We are:
- Deeply committed to rural and remote Queensland communities
- Focused on person-centred, practical support outcomes
- Building empowered, locally connected teams
- Large enough to make an impact, but agile enough to innovate
- Values-driven with a strong leadership culture
- Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality care
About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide leadership across service delivery operations, including Support Coordinators, Allied Health professionals, House Leaders and Lifestyle Support Workers.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading day-to-day service delivery and operational performance
- Building, mentoring and developing high-performing teams
- Driving a culture of accountability, quality and person-centred practice
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements
- Managing incidents, complaints, risk and continuous improvement
- Workforce planning, recruitment, supervision and performance management
- Strengthening stakeholder relationships and referral pathways
- Identifying opportunities for service growth in the communities we support
This is a highly autonomous leadership role requiring a confident leader who can balance operational demands, people leadership, compliance and service quality outcomes.
Success in this role requires a visible, hands-on leadership style and the ability to build strong relationships across geographically dispersed teams and communities.
About you
You are a confident,
practical and values-driven leader who can balance operational delivery, compliance, team development and participant outcomes.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in disability, community services, health or human services
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary or dispersed teams
- Sound knowledge of NDIS compliance, quality and safeguarding requirements
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, incident response and continuous improvement
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Financial and operational management capability
- Confidence working autonomously and making sound decisions under pressure
You will spend time travelling across regional Queensland to support teams, strengthen relationships, and ensure consistent service quality across locations.
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services, Community Services, Business Management, or related disciplines
- Significant leadership experience within disability, community services, health, or human services
- A current Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Highly regarded:
- Experience working within regional or remote communities
- Understanding of broader community and allied health service systems
Ready to lead meaningful change?
If you are a solid operational leader who values community connection, quality service delivery, and empowering teams to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
