We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to our Trauma Service.
The Trauma Service CNC role requires demonstrated competence within a critical care environment, including minimum team-leader experience in the management of high-acuity trauma patients. Completion of relevant critical care education and training is required. The CNC must demonstrate capability in advanced clinical assessment, prioritisation and effective multidisciplinary team practice.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Undertakes operational leadership.
- Works collectively to apply the principles of clinical governance.
- Applies professional and clinical expertise in collaboration with nursing and midwifery and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
- Responsible for enacting strategies that supports a work-based culture that promotes and supports education, learning, research and workforce development.
Remuneration value up to $174,208 p.a., comprising salary between $140,632 - 152,685 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $70.92 - $77.00 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7 (permanent flexible part time position available, 60.8 hrs p.f.).
