Salary: $84,618 - $128,887 per annum plus superannuation (Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024). Commencement salary will be determined in accordance with the Agreement, based on qualifications and relevant experience.

Join our esteemed team at the Army School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (ASEME) based at our Latchford Barracks campus as we search for an outstanding individual to fill the role of Automotive Teacher. Your mission: to inspire and educate future automotive technicians within our creative Vehicle Technology Wing.
As a vital member of our faculty, you'll craft engaging lesson plans, imparting invaluable knowledge across various competency units teaching students how to identify and fix issues within military vehicles. Selected Duties:
- Deliver theory and practical lessons.
- Preparation of courses.
- Conduct teaching programs within Automotive related areas.
- Customise units and courses to meet students’ needs.
- Coordinate student’ resources.

About you
You will bring:
Essential:
- Trade qualification in Automotive and relevant work experience.
- Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical.
- Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
Desirable:
- Current Teaching qualification (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) in accordance with the Victorian TAFE Association, or willingness to obtain.
