Support a nationally significant fire information service through financial, contract and project administration, reporting and coordination.
About the Position
As a NAFI Administrative Officer, you will provide administrative and operational support to the NAFI Service, coordinating financial and contract administration, compliance, reporting, HR processes, travel and logistics.
You will monitor project finances and funding requirements, prepare financial reports, support funding applications and contract reporting, and develop efficient processes to strengthen governance and service delivery. Working closely with the NAFI Service Manager, CDU teams and key stakeholders, you will help ensure the effective and compliant operation of NAFI.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Strong attention to detail, a high level of initiative and organisational skills, and a commitment to high-quality customer service are essential to success in this role.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality financial and operational support, including procurement, expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and provide high-level support across a diverse range of activities.
- Demonstrated broad understanding of organisational processes and the ability to adapt to varying operational requirement.
- Experience working with land management organisations or groups is highly advantageous.
- Commitment to the University’s values.
Additional Key Selection Criteria for Level 7
- Ability to generate customised reports to effectively communicate financial information to individuals from a non-financial background.
- Ability to undertake financial forward planning, monitoring and evaluation and to recommend and implement significant improvements to processes, procedures and systems.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 6/7. The base salary will be in the range of $89,487 - $105,992 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $104,699 - $124,010 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
