About the role

This is a varied sales role combining in-store customer sales with proactive on-the-road business development across the Sunshine Coast. You will work with customers making considered, high-value purchasing decisions, from individual premium appliances through to complete kitchen and laundry packages. A key part of the role will also be getting out on the road, developing new business and building relationships with builders, developers, interior designers, architects, kitchen companies and other trade partners. Your focus will be on generating opportunities, building strong relationships, recommending the right solutions and confidently progressing enquiries from initial contact through to sale.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver premium, consultative sales experiences to customers

- Proactively develop new business across the Sunshine Coast

- Spend time on the road meeting prospective and existing trade clients

- Build relationships with builders, developers, architects, interior designers, kitchen companies and other industry partners

- Generate new leads and develop a solid pipeline of sales opportunities

- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable appliance packages and solutions

- Convert in-store, phone, online and external enquiries into sales

- Prepare quotes and proactively follow up opportunities to close sales

- Sell individual appliances as well as complete kitchen and laundry packages

- Develop repeat and referral business through strong ongoing relationships

- Identify opportunities to increase order value through complementary and premium product recommendations

- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets

- Develop solid product knowledge across leading appliance brands

- We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys sales, networking, building relationships and winning new business.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, premium retail, appliances, kitchens, interiors,



building products or a similar environment

- Confidence getting out on the road and approaching potential new clients

- A strong sales mindset with the ability to generate leads, follow up opportunities and ask for the sale

- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

- A consultative sales approach rather than high-pressure selling

- Motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets

- Confidence discussing and quoting higher-value purchases and projects

- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline

- Professional presentation and a customer-first attitude

- Good attention to detail when preparing quotes and processing orders

- Confidence using POS systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office

- Availability to work Saturdays

- A current driver's licence

Experience in appliances, kitchens, building or design industries is highly regarded but not essential. Comprehensive product and sales training will be provided.
