Are you an experienced Maintenance or Handyman, ex-tradesperson, Mechanic or similar looking for a diverse role within a dynamic team?
We are looking for a hands-on, practical and computer-literate Maintenance / Handyman to join our team.
This is a diverse role suited to an ex-tradesperson, mechanic, maintenance fitter or someone with strong practical maintenance experience who enjoys variety, solving problems and getting things done.

We specialise in delivering innovative solutions to solve our client’s most challenging waste and contaminated site problems. Our sustainable approach maximises the recovery of reusable resources from various waste products and minimises the volume of waste disposed to landfill.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for a broad range of maintenance and general site duties, including:
- General site maintenance, repairs and handyman duties.
- Basic Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of plant and equipment.
- Identifying faults and finding practical solutions.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Managing our maintenance program, ensuring scheduled servicing and maintenance is completed and recorded.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting outstanding works.
- Arranging trades and contractors for on-site maintenance work.
- Ordering spare parts, equipment and sundry stock as required.
- Maintaining appropriate levels of critical spare parts and consumables.
- Receiving, storing and categorising incoming inventory, spare parts and sundry items, ensuring they are organised, clearly identified and readily available for use.
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors where required.
- Assisting with general site and operational requirements.
- Working independently or as part of a team depending on the task.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in maintenance, mechanical trades, handyman work, automotive or a similar trade.
- Has a strong can-do attitude and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.
- Is a practical problem solver who enjoys finding solutions.
- Is computer literate and comfortable using maintenance software, Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- Can manage and maintain electronic maintenance records.
- Is organised and capable of ordering parts and managing stock.
- Is willing to learn current skills and take on new challenges.
- Can work autonomously and manage their own workload.
- Can also work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
- Takes pride in their work and has a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Has good communication skills and a positive attitude.
