We have two amazing opportunities for experienced, detailed, and operationally minded Finance Officer to join our team to support our Income Audit and Accounts Payable functions.

What You’ll Do

As Finance Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Finance department and support the Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Finance, approaching all tasks with a high level of detail and in a timely nature. While these positions will be focused on Income Audit and Accounts Payable as specific functions, tasks expected within this role may include:

- Accurately process payments to debtor accounts
- Complete reconciliations




- Process or issue invoices and request payments
- Respond to suppliers and customers
- Maintain general ledgers and month-end journals
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports to meet submission datelines.
- Ensure internal controls and complete self-audits
- Handle and resolve various daily operational issues and queries
- Ensure quality, efficiency and consistency in the delivery of routine work within the department.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in the role you will have experience in a similar role, complemented by the following key attributes:

- Exceptional business and numerical acumen
- Good working knowledge of hotel operations, with previous experience in hotel highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent working knowledge of financial systems (SunSystems and Opera/Shiji Daylight highly desirable)
- Extremely organised with an excellent attention to detail
- Tertiary qualifications and or equivalent hotel experience
