Duties
- Lead electrical and automation projects from concept through to commissioning
- Manage PLC and SCADA modifications, optimisation and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot electrical issues across the manufacturing plant
- Work closely with production, maintenance and external contractors
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency and reliability
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget and timeframe requirements
- Maintain electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
Skills & experience
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent
- 5+ years' electrical engineering experience within manufacturing
- Robust PLC experience – Allen Bradley, Siemens or Omron highly regarded
- Proven experience delivering electrical or automation projects
- Strong industrial networks, instrumentation and fault-finding knowledge
