About the role

The Dieri Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (TDAC) is seeking a motivated, culturally respectful and community‑minded Administration Officer to join our Operational Services team. This frontline role supports TDAC members, the Office Manager, Finance Manager and broader administration function by providing professional, accurate and confidential administrative support. As the Administration Officer, you will be the first point of contact for TDAC members seeking information, support or assistance. You will help members understand available services, complete forms, lodge applications and navigate internal and external support pathways. You will also provide routine finance administration support and contribute to the smooth operation of TDAC's office through data entry, records management, reception support, filing, correspondence, supplies and general administrative tasks. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, cultural awareness and a strong commitment to confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

- Assist members with policy, funding, payment and service-related applications

- Check forms and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy

- Record, track and follow up member enquiries and applications

- Provide general information about TDAC services and external support pathways

- Support routine finance administration including invoices, receipts and payment documentation

- Maintain accurate data entry, records, registers and filing systems

- Assist with reception,



front counter enquiries and office coordination tasks

- Communicate professionally with members, Elders, staff, service providers and stakeholders

About you

- Experience in administration, customer service, member services or reception

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- High attention to detail with accurate data entry, document checking and record‑keeping skills

- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, email, calendars and file management

- Strong cultural awareness and understanding of cultural sensitivity

- Willingness to work flexible hours when required

- Current Drivers Licence

- Permanent and ongoing work rights in Australia without requiring employer sponsorship

- Desirable - Relevant qualifications in a related field such as business, administration, community services or finance administration

- Desirable - Experience working in an Aboriginal corporation, RNTBC/PBC, community‑controlled organisation or member‑based environment
