This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major Australian infrastructure project focused on reducing emissions and supporting a more sustainable future. Working within a safety first setting, you will play a key role in delivering high quality electrical, instrumentation and control systems work in accordance with project requirements, industry standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, test and commission instrumentation, control and electrical equipment in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Perform loop checking, calibration and functional testing of field instrumentation and control systems.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical and control system issues.
- Work safely and ensure all procedures and permit requirements are followed.
- Comply with site Cardinal Rules and all safety requirements during the execution of work.
- Assist with commissioning activities and support the successful delivery of project milestones.
- Maintain accurate testing, calibration and commissioning records.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Cert III in Instrumentation and Control, Electrical Instrumentation, Electrotechnology, or equivalent trade qualification.
- Current unrestricted Electrical Licence (preferred where applicable)
- EEHA qualification (issued within the last 5 years)
- Current RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights certification (issued within the last 3 years)
- Current RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces certification (issued within the last 3 years)
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
Highly Regarded Experience
- Brownfield experience within oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, power generation or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience with commissioning, loop checking, calibration and functional testing activities.
- Exposure to PLC, DCS, SCADA and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
- Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and Permit to Work systems.
- Experience working with and maintaining hazardous area instrumentation and Ex equipment.
