The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) is seeking a motivated and organised Tirrina Project Officer to support one of the most significant reform initiatives for Aboriginal children and families in Lutruwita/Tasmania.
About the Role
Working within the Tirrina Project Team, you will provide project, coordination and administrative support across transition planning, workforce readiness, governance, stakeholder engagement and reporting activities. You will work collaboratively with the Aboriginal community, TAC staff and key stakeholders to support Aboriginal-led reform and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Support project planning, governance and reporting activities.
• Coordinate stakeholder and community engagement activities.
• Support transition readiness assessments and workforce preparation initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, registers and project schedules.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Contribute to Aboriginal-led transition planning, reform and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
• Experience supporting projects,
programs or organisational change initiatives.
• Solid communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to analyse information and identify risks, gaps and opportunities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer and reporting skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• A commitment to culturally safe practice, Aboriginal Data Sovereignty and Aboriginal self-determination principles.

Requirements
