Position:
Casual Disability Support Workers
What You’ll Do
- Provide person-centred support to participants in our SIL homes
- Assist with daily living needs, including personal care, mobility, social support and meal preparation
- Support participants in developing independence, life skills and social connections
- Maintain participant records, daily shift notes and incident reports
- Follow individual support plans, including behaviour support and medication administration
- Ensure homes are clean, secure and comfortable
Key Requirements
- Availability to work across a 7-day roster (morning, afternoon, evening)
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with a disability
- Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and a positive, proactive attitude
- Team-oriented, with a focus on participant rights and independence
Qualifications & Training (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
