About the role
We are seeking a responsive, diligent and service-oriented Warehouse person/ Delivery Driver to join our valued Bedshed team.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare customer orders for delivery which include mattresses and furniture
Deliver orders including assembling/disassembling of furniture
Loading and unloading of trucks - inbound and outbound
Unloading containers as and when required
Managing stock in the warehouse
General housekeeping activities
On the road,
you will plan the shortest delivery route, contact customers prior to arrival and confirm the estimated delivery time, unload the mattresses and furniture and ensure all paperwork has been accurately processed. Sometimes you will need to assemble furniture, so some technical aptitude would be excellent. Must be able to move and lift heavy loads.

Skills
You will need the confidence and communication skills to work with team members and provide a service to customers as their last point of contact. A clean current driver's license is essential. Ability to lift heavy weight is essential.
