About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Makeup Artist to join our Carolina Herrera counter in Myer Sydney.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer experiences through personalised makeup consultations and professional application services, while driving sales performance and brand loyalty. You will embody the Carolina Herrera aesthetic, bringing the brand to life through artistry, storytelling, and elevated service.

This role offers a minimum of 25 hours per week , with flexibility required across retail trading hours.

Key Responsibilities





- Deliver personalised makeup consultations and professional application services tailored to each customer
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and application techniques
- Achieve sales targets through expert recommendations and relationship-building
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and follow-up
- Support and execute counter activations, events, and promotional activities
- Maintain impeccable hygiene standards and visual merchandising presentation
- Collaborate with store teams, Account Managers, and Head Office to drive business outcomes
- Continuously develop product knowledge and artistry skills through training

About You

- Previous experience in beauty retail, with a strong focus on makeup artistry
- Formal training in makeup (desirable) or demonstrable practical experience
- Passion for beauty, artistry, and delivering premium customer experiences
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales targets and performance metrics
- Proactive, collaborative and adaptable approach
- Flexibility to work across a varied retail roster
