We are seeking an Accommodation Hotel Receptionist (Guest Service Agent) to join of our Metropole Apartment Hotel in Melbourne. Experience in this position will be highly regarded.

You must have a genuine passion for hospitality, a calmness while working under pressure with a keen eye for detail in facility, service, and product delivery. You will understand that customer service is at the forefront of everything we do.

Attributes

- A genuine friendly approach to others
- Hotel Front office experience favourably considered
- Demonstrable ability to assist in the reservation process from phone call to check-in and follow through to check-out
- Knowledge of RMS, or similar system is a definite advantage but not essential
- Good knowledge of hotels or the serviced apartment industry and procedures is desirable
- Flexibility to work a varied roster including evenings and possibly weekends
- Skilled telephone manner and communication skills
- Computer literacy in Word and Excel is preferred
- Patience and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- An eye for detail,



professional personal presentation and good organisational skills
- Previous Experience is a definite bonus
- Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with a 'can do attitude'

Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Candidates without hospitality background must have customer service experience.
