Turner Freeman Lawyers is a respected national law firm with more than 70 years of experience delivering exceptional legal services to Australians. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a full time Office Assistant/Relief Receptionist to join our Brisbane office.

As a key member of our team, you will be trusted to manage tasks efficiently, exercise sound judgement, and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
In addition to supporting the Brisbane office, you will liaise regularly with colleagues across our national network. This role requires the ability to prioritise competing tasks and respond promptly to requests from multiple stakeholders.
Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role will be highly regarded, with reception experience essential. Most importantly, you will be dependable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering excellent service to both internal and external clients.
While this is a dual role position, the primary focus is on Office Assistant duties,
supporting the day to day administration and operational needs of the office. Reception responsibilities will also form an important part of the role, providing the opportunity to be the face of the firm while demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and exceptional client service.
The successful candidate will be confident in managing reception duties and committed to developing the knowledge and capabilities required to excel in this area.
- Daily relief reception duties, including coverage for leave. Essential ability to take detailed and accurate messages;
- Previous experience with a strong reception, customer service background;
- Professional phone manner & strong communication skills;
- High level of diary management & travel bookings;
- Experience with Microsoft teams and video conferencing;
- Assist with marketing / merchandise for events;
- Outside duties consist of District & Supreme court filing and banking;
- Auditand orderstationery and office supplies;
- Attendto all incoming and outgoing mail including the collection of mail and deliveries;
- Assistwith general overflow of work around the office e.g. a high volume of photocopying & filing of correspondence as directed;
- Request and archive documents; and
- Extensive ongoing housekeeping and general office duties.
Salary is consistent with similar positions within the Award market.
