About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join a leading power tools organisation on a casual basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded technician with experience repairing power tools, mechanical equipment or similar products .

You will work in a professional workshop environment, diagnosing faults, completing repairs and testing equipment to ensure it is returned to customers in excellent working condition.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and fault-finding power tools and equipment
- Repairing and servicing tools to manufacturer standards
- Conducting functional and safety testing
- Recording repair findings, labour and parts accurately
- Identifying and reporting parts shortages or technical issues
- Maintaining a strong daily repair output
- Following technical procedures and safety requirements




- Assisting with dispatch during busy periods
- Working closely with the Supervisor and wider team

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Previous experience repairing power tools or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Good problem-solving ability
- The ability to work independently
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
