North & West Remote Health (NWRH) is seeking a friendly, organised and professional Clinical Receptionist to join the headspace Whitsundays team in Proserpine.

As the first point of contact for many young people, families and visitors, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment while providing high-quality reception and administrative support to the headspace team.

- Hourly rate + super based on skills and experience

About the role

- Welcome young people, families and visitors while providing friendly, professional customer service.
- Answer phones, manage enquiries, and book and confirm appointments.
- Provide reception and administrative support to clinical staff and the wider headspace team.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems and general office administration.
- Assist with meetings, events,



supplies, mail, financial administration and the day-to-day presentation of the centre.

Skills and experience

- Experience in an administration and/or reception role, preferably in a similar environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with young people and families.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
- A professional, confidential, adaptable and team-focused approach with strong attention to detail.

About the Location

headspace Whitsundays

headspace provides early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12–25, supporting young people across mental health, physical and sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, and vocational and educational support.

headspace Whitsundays operates as a satellite service of headspace Mackay, working closely with headspace Mackay staff and local community services to provide accessible and youth-friendly support to young people across the region.
