About the Role

At QT Melbourne, every event has its own personality — and every great event runs on great service. As our C&F; F&B; Attendant, you're the one making sure guests are looked after from the first pour to the last plate, keeping conferences, functions, and celebrations running like clockwork.

Whether it's a slick corporate breakfast, a long lunch, or an evening gala under the chandeliers, you'll be right in the mix. Setting the scene, serving with style, and making sure every guest feels like the most important person in the room.

Key Responsibilities

- Delivering food and beverage service across conferences, functions, and events, from canapés to plated dinners.
- Working the room with confidence — clearing, refreshing, and anticipating what guests need before they ask.




- Handling bar and beverage service where required, keeping things flowing smoothly.
- Warmly greeting and seating guests, handing over menus with a genuine welcome
- Taking accurate orders — including special requests and dietary needs — so nothing gets lost in translation
- Serving food and beverages promptly and with polish, every single time
- Checking in with guests to make sure they're having a outstanding time (and swooping in if they're not)
- Pitching in as part of the team, upholding QT's famously high (and famously fun) standards

What You’ll Bring

- 1+ years’ worth of experience as a F&B; attendant or waitstaff in restaurants, events or hotels.
- Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
- Warm, friendly and approachable manor.
- Must be able to carry multiple plates and clear tables.
- A team-first mindset and a good sense of humour under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
