About the Role

We’re seeking friendly and reliable Domestic Assistants to join our team across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, & Surrounds .

In this role, you’ll assist clients in their homes with general household tasks, meal preparation and daily living support — helping to create a secure, clean, and comfortable environment.
School-hours shifts are available , making this a great opportunity for those seeking flexibility around family or lifestyle commitments. We also accept applications from those who are re-entering the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide domestic support, including cleaning, laundry and household organisation
- Assist clients with meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Support clients with community access (appointments, social outings) where required
- Encourage independence and wellbeing through respectful, person-centred support
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold NDNS quality standards
- Assist clients with Community Care duties

What You’ll Need

- Preferably some experience in domestic assistance, cleaning or home support (aged care or disability experience highly regarded)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)




- Driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Experience working in the Aged Care &/or disability sectors
- A positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with and supporting people
