We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and professional Disability Support Worker with Behaviour management experience to join our team at Farr & Beyond Support Services .
This role involves providing in-home and community support to participants living with disabilities. The successful applicant will have the skills and patience to build trust, provide structure, and encourage independence while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance where required
- Provide behaviour management to ensure participants safety
- Support emotional wellbeing person-centred approaches
- Facilitate community access and social engagement
- Administer and prompt medication as per care plan
- Maintain accurate shift notes and follow support plans
About You
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and behaviour management
- Reliable, empathetic, and able to maintain skilled boundaries
- Flexible availability, including weekend shifts
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current working with children checks (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver Licence & reliable vehicle
Desirable (not compulsory)
- Cert III/IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or related field
- Mental Health First Aid
