We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who loves getting the details right, building positive relationships and finding better ways of working. If you're someone who takes ownership, enjoys autonomy and values being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a part-time opportunity based in Eight Mile Plains 20-25hours per week
As our Accounts Payable Officer, you'll help ensure everything flows smoothly behind the scenes so our teams can focus on creating great experiences for children and communities.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing invoices through DEXT and maintaining workflow accuracy
- Managing invoice approvals and keeping workflows moving
- Preparing weekly payment runs across multiple entities
- Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries
- Building positive relationships with suppliers as a key point of contact
- Supporting bank reconciliations and month-end activities
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes
Desire Skills and Experience
- Experience in a medium to high-volume Accounts Payable role
- MYOB and Xero experience essential
- DEXT or similar AP workflow system experience highly regarded
- Strong Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Passion for continuous improvement and finding better ways of working
