Rocky Glen Hotel Motel is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar, Gaming and Retail Attendants to join our hospitality team. This is a casual position based in Gladstone, QLD , offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Bar, Gaming and Retail Attendant, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service across our bar, gaming, and retail areas whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy.

What you'll be doing

- Serving beverages and preparing cocktails with accuracy and flair, ensuring all drinks meet our quality standards
- Processing cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately at the till, maintaining strict adherence to responsible service of alcohol protocols
- Managing gaming machines and providing customer support, ensuring compliance with all gaming regulations and our house policies
- Stocking shelves and maintaining retail displays in an organised and visually appealing manner
- Providing friendly and attentive service to customers, responding promptly to requests and enquiries
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar, gaming, and retail areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Contributing to a safe and welcoming setting for all guests, implementing responsible service of alcohol practices
- Supporting promotional activities and special events as required
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

What we're looking for

- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Current Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG)



certification(bar and gaming positions)
- Proven experience in bar, hospitality, gaming or retail environments
- Solid cash handling abilities and experience with point-of-sale systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Positive attitude, reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of gaming machine operations and compliance requirements is advantageous
- Food safety Certificate (bar and gaming positions)
