GFR Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join our warehouse and wholesale team at Acacia Ridge.

This is a hands‑on position involving receiving, order picking, packing, freight dispatch, local collections and deliveries, and inventory control. The role would suit someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock records and completing customer orders correctly.

Based in Acacia Ridge, we import and distribute specialist hydraulic equipment from leading international manufacturers. GFR Industries is the Australian national distributor for Hydro Leduc, OMSI, Bezares, AFO and AMI products.

Our customers include transport operators, vehicle manufacturers, workshops, hydraulic businesses and major industry organisations throughout Australia and the wider region.

About the Role

The Warehouse Storeperson will support the daily operation of our warehouse and ensure incoming and outgoing goods are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

- Receiving and checking incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Reporting damaged, incorrect or missing goods.
- Labelling and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately.




- Preparing goods and documentation for dispatch.
- Booking freight through carrier portals such as FedEx and MyToll.
- Organising courier collections and monitoring outgoing deliveries.
- Completing local collections and customer deliveries as required.
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Maintaining accurate stock records within the company’s inventory system.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and well organised.
- Operating a forklift to load, unload and relocate goods.
- Supporting the internal sales and operations teams as reasonably required.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience in warehousing, stores, dispatch or inventory control.
- Experience receiving, checking, picking and packing goods.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn inventory and freight systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
- A current forklift licence.
- The confidence and ability to complete local collections and deliveries safely.
- The ability to safely complete the manual‑handling requirements of the role.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work without constant supervision.




- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
- The ability to reliably commute to Acacia Ridge for an 8:00 am start.

Desirable Experience

The following would be advantageous:

- Experience using freight booking portals such as FedEx or MyToll.
- Experience using inventory, warehouse, ERP or accounting software.
- Previous experience in a small warehouse or stores environment.
- Experience handling mechanical, automotive, truck, industrial or hydraulic components.
- Experience conducting stock counts and investigating stock discrepancies.
- Previous experience completing commercial collections and deliveries.
