We're working with an established international business looking to add a Legal Counsel to its Brisbane team.
Reporting directly to an experienced Head of Legal, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the business and gain exposure to a broad mix of commercial matters including:
- drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- business sale transactions
- franchising and associated regulatory work
- leasing
- intellectual property
- insurance and claims
- general commercial and operational advice
It's the breadth that makes this one particularly attractive as well as the great mentoring you will receive from an excellent General Counsel.
Rather than being pigeonholed into one area, you'll get exposure to how a substantial business operates across Australia and internationally, while working closely with a Head of Legal who can continue developing your in-house skillset.
We're looking for a commercial lawyer around 3–5 years' PAE from private practice or an in-house environment. Previous franchising experience would be useful but isn't essential.
On offer is circa $125–140k + super , together with the prospect to build a broad in-house career within an established and growing business.
