The Venue Manager’s right hand. Run big services from the floor, coach the team in real time, hold the standard on the quiet Tuesday as well as the flat-out Saturday - with admin fitted around service, not instead of it.

Melbourne’s best-known BBQ group is about to land on the shores of Surfers Paradise — and our new flagship store is the biggest thing we’ve ever built. Slow-smoked meats, bold flavours, huge portions, wild specials, and the kind of over-the-top energy that gets people talking. Six venues, a cult following, and now we’re bringing the smoke North.

To open it properly, we need a team of guns. People who take pride in their craft, love a big service, and want to tell people they were there on opening night. You are the opening crew. You set the standard, you shape the culture, and as we grow across Queensland, you’re first in line for what comes next.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day FOH operations with energy and consistency
- Hire, train and develop the FOH team; manage rosters and staffing levels
- Own the FOH numbers: sales, labour, speed of service, wastage
- Manage bookings, functions, guest feedback and recovery professionally
- Keep RSA, liquor licensing, and health and safety compliance tight
- Work closely with the kitchen and management team so the whole venue runs as one
- Contribute to promotions and initiatives that build repeat business

What We’re Looking For:





- 2+ years managing a high-volume hospitality venue
- Calm under pressure, a straight‑up communicator, high standards without the ego
- Confident with POS, bookings and rostering systems (TapTouch or OpenTable experience a bonus)
- Availability across evenings and weekends
- Genuine pride in hospitality — you actually care whether the guest comes back.

What We Offer:

$75,000–$90,000 + super, depending on experience. We pay more because we want the best.
