Elevate Construction Group QLD is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Tradesman to join our team in Brisbane. This is a full time position where you will be required to operate machinery of all sizes and also work on the tools to assist with work such as building set out, working out heights, preparing footings, concreting, assisting with some occasional formwork

The role involves working as part of a small crew doing projects of various sizes - from specialty small works up to warehouse slabs, footings and pavements.

What we're looking for

It is crucial that the applicant understands set out, levels, reading plans and RL's and how to direct earthworks for slabs, carpark pavements, commercial building footings, retaining wall footings and intricate small commercial concrete projects.

The applicant must have a proactive and positive attitude towards work, colleagues, clients and others on site.

The applicant must be able to direct others as required to drive a timeline while also performing their role on the tools.

Experienced operating an excavator and positrack is essential. As is being willing to work on the tools and assist with what is required for footings and concrete preparation, formwork etc.

Ability to work away from home occasionally for small stints. Occasional projects 1-2 times per year. (This work comes with paid travel,



allowances and accommodation)

A commitment to health and safety practices, with the ability to identify and manage workplace hazards and ensure workers are wearing required PPE.

Mature and responsible, understanding how to keep a job site tidy and work vehicle presentable.

Be an Australian citizen, have an Australian driver's license and be able to obtain a clean police check. (Defence sites requirement)
