The Team

Beaconsfield District Health Service is a rural multipurpose service providing a broad range of services to our local community, including residential aged care, sub-acute care, community nursing, allied health, home care and Day centre programs. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering safe, person centred care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role

As a Registered Nurse , you will provide safe, evidence-based and person-centred care to residents, inpatients and community clients within a rural multipurpose service. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high quality clinical care while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will contribute to a positive team culture, support continuous quality improvement and participate in maintaining a safe environment for consumers, visitors and colleagues.

You will need:

- Deliver comprehensive nursing assessment, planning and evaluation in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies
- Work collaboratively with residents, patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible health outcomes
- Demonstrate effective communication, sound clinical judgement, and a commitment to continuous learning and flexibility

Details of appointment

- Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.
- notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Salary Packaging

You’ll have access to salary package a range of advantages including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Regional Allowances

- Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%
