HAPPYSOUL CATERING PTY is looking for Skilled Sous Chefs to join our dedicated kitchen team to run outlets 75 Broadway St, Junee NSW 2663 As a Sous Chef in ourHappysoul Catering Pty Ltd you’ll oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring creativity, consistency, and quality across every service.
You’ll lead by example, from hands-on cooking to mentoring your team and maintaining strong cost and quality controls. As a Sous Chef.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Lead and support the kitchen team during service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates.
- Managing preparation , ordering and stock control
- Ensure food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are maintained.
- Supervise, train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Assist with rostering, ordering and stock control.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management & Dip of Hosp Mgmt.
or 3 years Work Exp
- Must have 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
- Positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Honest, humble, and results-driven
Job Type: Full time Salary Offered AUD 80,000 to AUD 85,000 per year
