About the role
As a Program Delivery Officer, you will contribute to the development and delivery of contemporary, inclusive and impactful programs that support the growth and vibrancy of NSW’s arts, cultural and creative industries.
Working across a range of initiatives, you will provide project and program support, build robust relationships with stakeholders and creative communities, and help ensure programs are effectively planned, delivered, monitored and evaluated.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of government, creativity and community, contributing to initiatives that improve access, participation and opportunities for priority communities across NSW.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to the planning, development and delivery of programs and initiatives aligned with government priorities and the objectives of the Creative Communities policy.
- Provide project and program management support, including developing documentation and plans, coordinating activities, and gathering information for reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, organisations and creative communities.
- Undertake research to support effective engagement with targeted creative communities and help develop timely, accurate and accessible program materials.
- Support the coordination and promotion of program information to stakeholders, responding to enquiries and triaging feedback to the appropriate program leads.
- Contribute to program assessments, evaluations and continuous improvement activities, identifying risks and supporting appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assist with governance and assurance processes to support the integrity, effectiveness and efficient delivery of programs.
- Contribute to reports, submissions, correspondence and other program documentation, including elements of business cases and House and Estimates Notes.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience supporting project and program delivery, including planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- The ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and work collaboratively across government, industry and creative communities.
- The ability to oversee multiple program objectives and deliverables and respond effectively to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and engaging program information and documentation.
- A curious and analytical approach, with the ability to research information, identify issues and contribute to practical solutions.
- An understanding of the importance of inclusive and equitable engagement and a genuine interest in NSW’s arts, cultural and creative industries.
