We’re looking for an M-POWER Content Manager to lead the content, PR and storytelling strategy that brings this work to life. This is an opportunity to shape how M-POWER’s mission, impact, partners and thought leadership show up across MECCA – creating compelling stories and purpose-led campaigns that engage our customers and community and strengthen M-POWER’s profile and influence.

The Role You Could Play:

As M-POWER Content Manager, you’ll shape the stories we tell and how we tell them – bringing together strategic thinking, creativity and exceptional storytelling across owned, earned and shared channels. You will:

Lead M-POWER’s content and storytelling strategy, shaping narratives and multi-channel campaigns for key initiatives including MECCA Archive, International Day of the Girl, MECCA Prize, Women in Design and International Women’s Day

Oversee content planning, creation, editing and publishing across social, digital, editorial and campaign channels, ensuring a distinctive and consistent M-POWER voice

Develop integrated campaign messaging and amplification plans, embedding M-POWER and purpose-led storytelling into broader MECCA brand campaigns, experiences and activations

Partner across Social, PR, Influencer, Digital, Retail, Creative Hub and Brand teams, as well as external partners, agencies and creators, to identify and deliver powerful storytelling opportunities

Build M-POWER’s thought leadership and impact storytelling, using content performance and audience insights to continually strengthen engagement and influence

What You Will Bring:





You’re a strategic and creative storyteller with exceptional editorial judgement and a passion for using content to create meaningful impact. You’re comfortable movingbetween big-picture thinking, creative problem-solving and the hands-on delivery needed to keep a fast-moving team progressing. Ideally, you will bring:

7+ years’ experience across strategic content, editorial, communications, PR or brand storytelling, with experience developing multi-channel content strategies and integrated campaigns

Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, paired with robust editorial judgement, campaign planning and PR capability

A deep understanding of social media, audience engagement, emerging content formats and the behaviours of Gen Alpha and Gen Z audiences

Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, with experience influencing across senior stakeholders and managing agencies, contributors, creators and multiple priorities

A highly collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a genuine passion for gender equality, social impact and purpose-led storytelling; Canva and video editing capability is strongly preferred
