The Entertainment Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of Jump Central's party and entertainment programs. The role combines customer engagement and booking conversion, event planning and run-sheet development, staff rostering and briefing, and operational support across booking and entertainment systems. The position reports to the Venue Manager and works alongside party hosts and reception team. It is a hands-on, floor-based role rather than a predominantly administrative one, with the coordinator present and active during party operations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver themed parties across trampoline, sports, Nerf, laser tag, virtual reality and combination formats
- Develop weekly run sheets covering timings, room turnarounds, activity rotations and catering requirements
- Oversee party operations during peak periods, ensuring programs run to schedule and participants remain safe and engaged
- Coordinate setup and pack-down of party spaces and activity equipment
- Respond to party enquiries by telephone, email and online platforms within agreed response times
- Follow up prospective customers and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Maintain accurate booking and customer records within the Roller platform
- Conduct pre-event confirmation calls covering attendance numbers, dietary requirements, add-ons and arrival times
- Prepare weekly rosters that align staffing levels to the party schedule and operate within labour cost targets
- Conduct pre-shift briefings so that each host is clear on their allocated party, group and timings
About you
- A current Victorian Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement
- Demonstrated confidence working with children aged approximately 3 to 13 years, including managing large groups
- Strong organisational and multitasking ability across concurrent events
- Clear and professional communication with parents, participants and staff
- Competence with booking systems (Roller, VenueSumo, InTennis) and general technology troubleshooting
- Availability across Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays
- Prior experience in a children's play centre, trampoline park, indoor play venue or party venue (desirable)
- Experience in rostering, supervision or team leadership (desirable)
- A background in events, hospitality or recreation (desirable)
