Administration Officer – ADS Support Line

Role type: Max Term Part-time (12hrs/week) until June 2028.

Role grade: Administration Officer Level 3 , (Year1-2)

Salary: $73,915.12 - $76,218.80 (pro-rata) + super+ salary packaging

About the role

- Provide high-quality back-end administrative support for a statewide 24/7 Alcohol & Drug Contact Centre, helping ensure the service operates smoothly and effectively.
- Coordinate rostering, payroll and finance administration, including maintaining staff rosters, processing approved changes and liaising with Payroll regarding pay and leave enquiries.
- Maintain and update the statewide Contact Centre database, service information, referral pathways and educational resources used by counsellors to support service delivery.
- Support data entry, reporting, audits, quality improvement, recruitment, training records and staff performance processes,



as well as various administrative projects and ad-hoc tasks.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Inner-City Health Administration team, supporting Alcohol & Drug, Mental Health and Homeless Health services and providing administrative support to managers and clinical teams.

About you

- Strong computer literacy, with experience using Word, spreadsheets, databases, email and electronic information systems, including HR and payroll systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and work independently.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, with an understanding of client administration systems and the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable clients and carers while maintaining confidentiality.
- A commitment to ongoing personal and career development, with a willingness to learn and contribute positively as part of a team.
